Aloha nui kākou,

I am reaching out to you in my capacity as the Native Rights Chair. In consultation with Mauna Kea Working Group members Dr. Noe Noe Wong-Wilson (Nohona Hawaiʻi Chair) and Shane Akoni Nelson (Benefit and Trusts chair), we felt that it was timely to provide the civic clubs with an update regarding the Mauna Kea Working Group Bill (HB2024).

Currently, four Civic Club members sit on this working group:

  • Dr. Noe Noe Wong Wilson (Hawaiian Civic Club of Hilo)
  • Shane Akoni Nelsen (Kuakini HCC)
  • Jocelyn Doane (King Kamehameha HCC)
  • Lui Hokoana (Central Maui HCC)
This educational forum will be taking place on Friday, March 4 at 5:30 p.m. (Hawaiʻi time).

2022 AHCC Health Survey
